Excellent job guys, it looks great seeing it all together

“6 forward speeds” well your fucked if you ever have to back up without help.

Guess youve never heard of a six speed

I believe they put a busa motor and trans in the car. If thats what they did then no it doesn’t have reverse, but if I remember correctly it’s suppose to be a race car. Either way don’t mind :skid

yes it is the Busa motor and trans.
At 1500# I’d hardly need help pushing it backwards.

:ahh

point taken. weighs less then a mazda 626 and i’ve pushed one of those fairly quicky

any plans for busa turbo kit?

okay cool , but whats up with the rear wheel sticking out so much .

sure is, but we have to find out which links are weak and work up from there.
goal would be from 275hp to 325… easy to do with a busa motor

stance for stability is one reason the other is because i cannot find a wheel with enough offset to inset them some more…

we should have shortened the rear end about 2" on each side…that would have fixed the issue…

i like the poke!

a wide body kit would be sick then you can shove what ever wheels you want in there

I agree. But it would have to be a one off built by hand.
Perhaps Mike and Kevin from CRC would be the guys!!

PISS OUT MY ASS!!!

Toss a set of fender flares on it. Did you guys keep it FWD?

As for reverse, most buggy guys use a flywheel attached to the rear carrier and a starter motor. Put the engine in Neutral and the starter motor backs you up.

No we changed it to RWD using a 1980 toyota corolla rear. built the tunnel and the driveshaft. slip yoke with a carrier bearing.

^ pics?

This really is awsome should make a hell of a track car esp with that wide ass. Is it coil or leaf rear?

I am very interested at how you made this rwd with the engine trans setup
