HAS ANY BODY SWITCHED RUBBERS YET?? OR R THEY STILL WAITING FOR MORE WORM WEATHER… I HEARD ESPECAILLY FOR PROFORMANCE TIRES YOU NEED TO WAIT FOR WORMER WEATHER?? IS THAT TRUE??
yes it is true. cuz with performance tires they need to be warm / hot to be “sticky”
if it’s z rated then it’s proformance tires??
more likely than not they will be used primarily for warmer conditions. even if its m+s and its rated z when temperatures reach below say 3 degrees the tires won’t be able to perform at its optimum performance.
Tread Wear rating and tire composition will tell you at what temperature the tires start to perform correctly.
The Z rating is only a speed rating indicating how fast the tire can be rotated before it starts to break down and destroy from the rotational forces. You can find this rating on a lot of All Season and a few Winter tires as well. They are able to perform at the Z rated speeds at any temperature stated by the manufacturer specification.
so when should i change up to my all season tires… assuming it;s not proformance tires??
i’d change up now and save em winters for next season no point in killing tread on the winters on dry pavement. plus its getting pretty damn warm anyways.
anybody know why directional tires are cheaper?
and if there are winter directional tires???
