First being an A-team fanatic. The A-team van wasnt Diesel and it had a 454. with side exhaust. That was obviously a fake.

Most info seems to mention that it was a 350 with next to no mods done to it. Wouldn’t really matter because the engines were so choked off back then.
there were 6 different a-team vans regularly used in the seasons. 4 of them were jump vehicles with cages round headlights and 350s. the 2 “official” vans, had all the interior work, and originally had a 350 in the first 2 seasons, it was then upgraded to a 454 so that they didnt have to speed up the tapes to make it appear to slide around corners and pick back up speed with ease.
