Another excellent Article

Crower is good for something.

 i cant decide on weather to get crane or crower cams for my car, both are wicked

wow. that is awesome. hopefully this can be further developed

That is very interesting. I would like to know more:

  1. Do the timing gears have a 3:1 ratio instead of 2:1 since it is 6 stroke?

  2. Also, how many valves does it have? 3? 1 intake and 1 exhaust for gas and 1 more valve for steam exhaust.

  3. Or does it need a 4th valve, so the water injection power cycle gets air, too?

water injection is direct like a diesel, normal valve operation, cams are 3:1.

 Thx.

This might be a repost…I think I saw it once before.

anyhoo…

What would be really cool would be to take a VW TDI, gear the cam 3:1 then lower the compression, install a different intake manifold with MPFI + plumb that up, then replace the diesel fuel with water.

As for the computer, you’d need to write all custom software. Doable.
