Actually still In the shop with DC fixing the rear axle of the racecar. Amazing work to say the least!!! Much appreciated fellas!!!

Sounds like they are good people

will post pix and full summary of what he did when i get back from unloading the car and gettin some food in my stomache

Good deal man, i was talkin aboutcha with Harold a little while ago. I gotta come watch you run that next.

hank?!?! wtf he fell off the face of the earth and i miss him :frowning:

Thursday i get a message from Darryl on my facebook sayin to get me and my car down to the shop so we can get my axle fixed. Load the car up on the trailer and haul my ass down there ASAP. Get there watch his race from last Friday (that he won) bullshited with the guys for a few and unloaded the car, pulled it right in and put her up on the lift. Took Darryl about 10 min to figure out how hes gunna straighten it out and got to it. Hacked the effed part and sway arm (also bent to shit) so it would dangle free so we could get it to where he/I wanted it and sent me out to get some steel.

Took me a bit to get shit gathered together while he was cleanin off some of the metal while i was gone on the steel run. Get back to the shop and the man is on a mission to get the axle straightened out. Took a piece of 1/8th or 3/16th thick (i dont remember what size it was) angle iron and cut it up to fill in the gap, also used some thick piece of steel that looked like a HUGE wrench that was left over from Dodge when they were in there. Also used a piece of the angle iron to make a brace to go from the axle to the lca which will help ALOT so if it gets slammed again it wont bent as bad if it will move at all. After about Darryl being under the car welding up shit for about 1.5 hours she was ready to be set on the ground and ready to race tonight.

I am VERY pleased with the work i would recommend them to anyone that needs any kind of racecar work, expesually custom metal fabrication work.

Some dumpy pix i snapped with my phone. Ill try to get some better ones tomorrow when i get her up on stands to take care of some shit.

Nice. Yea A.S.S. is a pretty sweet place to either get work done or do some work yourself.

I spent some quality time under the cobalt on Friday running my wiring for my wideband and readjusting some other minor details. Gotta love being able to work with a lift and not kill yourself on the ground with jack stands.

I also farted within mere inches of Ryan Kramer’s MR-2 several times.
