Caution:
Giant leaves may force their way into Gay-Same sex Train relationships forcing the parties to go their seperate ways after they absolve their civil union that was granted in San Francisco, CA. This may result in late, or missed trains so please plan accordingly.

Beware of flying debris when trains pass.

This sign means “Area prone to leaf-fall. Proceed with caution and use gritters if fitted” or words to that effect. As you can probabally tell, it’s a warning to train drivers to keep an eye out for places where leaves have fallen onto the rails.
You may be surprised to hear it, but leaves get crushed under the weight of passing trains and become a layer of debris more slippery than Teflon. As a result, it’s very easy for a train running over leaves to lose traction and either wheelspin or - Worse still - Lose all braking ability!

maybe…
