9/16-24 UNEF (not UNC or UNF)
Grainger does not have them.
Mcmaster has them, but I can’t wait til Tuesday for it.
Anyone have any other good ideas?
what does UNEF mean? sucks about the holidays, usually mcmaster stuff gets here next day or two days out when I order. I probably have a regular 9/16-24 but since I don’t know what the letters mean chances are it’s not what you need lol
UNEF means unified national extra fine. It just specifies the thread pitch. Common 9/16 thread sizes are 9/16-11 (UNC [coarse]) and 9/16-18 (UNF [fine]). You probably have a those, this is finer than that.
The bummer is that I had one, and mailed it to my body shop guy because I didn’t feel like driving to Lockport, but that was on Monday and he still hasn’t seen it, so I suspect it’s lost in limbo somewhere.
I’ll check to see what I have on lunch.
Oddly, Hectors has a pretty good selection of these. Worth a call anyway.
