Just making your car put out reliable horsepower in the ballpark of a stock Evo will not be cheap, and it still won’t have traction, handle, or brake like one etc. This will not be cost effective compared to buying an Evo, but if you’re still up for it and have money set aside to do this properly, let us know.
We had a customer show up, buy a brand new Evo 3 16g turbo, set it in his engine bay, and drive off…on purpose. He took the caps off the oil inlet and outlet before “installing” it aka setting in in the engine bay. True story.

He really is looking to turbo a FWD Lancer down the road. An EVO would be the way to go, but I guess he’s wondering if you could use a turbo, injector, and ecu setup from an EVO on his FWD Lancer? But that sounds like too much work and money. I just would have bought an EVO and called it a day.
