how much does he have to spend?

that is an ebay kit isn’t it?

and what is your friend going to use for tuning?

uhm get that if he wants to blow his shit up, otherwise for a turbo kit it is HPF or nothing… sigh, why do people keep buying M3’s and then trying to cheap out on mods

wtf is that?

i’m not sure why, but for some reason all posts are moderated now… we’re working on possibly making some changes here since it really hurts the functionality of the tech forum.

Tell your friend no, that is a cheap and easy way to blow up his M3 then he will be forced to spend 4-5k on a new motor anyways.

I think that I have it fixed so that it allows a post to be made but a thread still has to be approved.

haha Ebay turbo kit…

no manifold… how is he going to mount the turbo to the motor?

what about fuel managment…

fuck that … 13K I’d rather not.

Definitely not a car to buy to boost that’s for sure

It’s a great car to buy and boost, if you want to spend a lot of coin.

Ebay kit

Please post pics and results

.

tell him to sell the m3 and turbo a 325/330 if he wants to turbo a bmw

Until sharkedit actually comes out, if it ever does there are no other choices. After seeing how well HPF stands behind there product when a local guy with a stage 2 popped his motor, well now a stage 2.5, I would actually consider them if I had the extra money burning a hole in my pocket.

doesn’t the “jdm” part kinda scare you guys.

i enjoy these threads… almost like my sts experience only that wasn’t half as bad… maybe more like dos’s boost experience

Because they spent their last dollar on the car. Whats that old saying? If you can’t afford to push your car off a cliff, then…

It’ll end up looking like this! :banghead:
