Anybody work at a gm dealer? Parts department ????

Yes I’ve called. It’s impossible to deal with those people over the phone, and I don’t have time to stop in there.
I’ve also tried the “gto salvage yard”. He never parts with anything.
Anybody on the boards have an answer on ordering a goofy gm part?

I need a cts-v shift linkage. The entire sha bang. Bushings, shifter and linkage.

Thanks

The guy I live with works at a GM dealer and can get you parts

http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/ has pretty cool exploded parts diagrams for pretty much everything you need. I’m not sure how much of an offset you’re looking for with the swap (I built my own “linkage” to get it right where I needed for mine), but the GTO shifter sets it back a few inches, and I think I’ve seen people chop up the CTS-V shifter linkage and shorten/lengthen as necessary, which is probably what you’re looking to do. Either way you should be able to find everything you need at that website, and the pricing is a ton better than local dealers.

Yea I’ll be doing a chop and weld deal on the linkage.
I’ll check the site when I get home. Thanks for the heads up.

Muscle 5.0 Jesse work at basil Chevy parts. Could talk to him too…

Sounds like all the cool Chevy kids work at Basil.

I was going to suggest http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/ too since they kill on pricing
