It was pretty impressive. I know nothing about lightning, but it was not moving, had no thunder and went on for about an hour or more.

sweet pics. I cought some of it off in the distance when I was driving home.

I drove to the middle of nowhere to try and find a spot to take pics. I went about 15 miles past chestnut ridge and still couldn’t find a clear view.

It was pretty phenomenal.

yeah, I over-estimated my cameras picture taking abilities at 800 iso. Noise FTW. In retrospect I would have set it to 400 and slowed down the shutter.
