I was thinking about how hard it must be to accept bitcoin for payment yesterday when it spiked over 17 then fell to 14.
I also had an interesting thought. I saw an article that stated âHackers steal $70m in bitcoinâ. 1 - That value is a huge moving target. 2 - If you are talking about a currency being stolen, why not just say âHackers steal 4,000 bitcoin.â? (I know itâs not as sexy as $70m).
Either way, itâs interesting to try and get people to change their thought process and to just think about bitcoin as bitcoin, as opposed to thinking about bitcoin as dollars.

Iâm sitting on my litecoin hoping it will be at 10k like bitcoin a year from now and I can pay off my house with it. 
yeah i just tried to buy $90 of it and i bought BTC instead by accident. im not mad.
i cannot get GDAX to work for me though
I took my litecoin money from when I sold it and put a buy stop order for BTC for 15000.00 stop. So my understanding is if it falls to or below 15000 i will aut9matically buy it?
is there an actual way to contact support at GDAX or should i just set up on another exchange? i have tried numerous times and cannot get it to work.

I just did the verification last night. What do you mean by âtiming outâ? Did you upload a photo? Use your webcam? Did it ever submit?
Same was on coinbase yesterday, i tried 9 different times and finally got it. It said the id verification system was overloaded. Must be a bunch of people trying to gain the ability to put more in at a time which is a good thing hah
Honest question:
Who on here has actually made a significant amount of money doing all of this? Like, bought bitcoins, sold them and bought something real (car, toy, whatever).
Iv made some good coin, but havenât sold any get. Holding for another 18 months and going to keep investing till then. I could pull out now, but whatâs the point. It keep rising.
Original 2013 buy at $60, sold on the way up to $1,000 and bought my 1 series. Did small trading back and forth and paid for trips and stuff. Bought a chunk last year with a bonus check and that investment has balloned into a 2,000% return that has traded a long the way.
I have bought and and traded a lot in the last few years so I wish I just bought and hold but for someone who has seen the growth and each pop like this, it wasnât something as long term I thought as I did now or on such a larger scale until my buy last year.
im up over 30% in 3 weeks but under a $1k cash invested thus far.
I will do larger buys once i can get Gdax set up. i left it verifying for an hour today and it still didnt work.
When earning btc in currencies it may take some time to adjust to being more concerned with the btc over the dollar value. That is if you firmly believe that going forward Btc wont go back below say 11k .
Today crypto in in total was $400bil +, $320bil+ in btc,

no, i have literally tried everything i can try⌠on phone and laptop.
cannot get it to go. tried at least 15 times now.
just denied me and said i cannot try and more today.

That made me go from .068 btc to .041 at 3 am when I decided to get up and touch the screen 
some 30 hours later I am at .071 and if I cash out right now, I would have paid back my total invested so far at $1200, and still have .037 btc squirreled away elsewhere. Not planning on doing that though. Adding funds while it still makes sense to add out of physically earned money and assets instead of just earning on other coins . So yeah you can make some money here. The returns are certainly better than my day job @$16/hr crawling around under mobile homes 
What do you do under mobile homes? Pest control?
