The amount of some of those coins out there prevents them from ever hitting bitcoin numbers.
yeah there is more than 2100x more XRP/Ripple in circulation than BTC/Bitcoin so at that ratio XRP would be about $8 to BTC’s $16,000 or so. I dont think it will be relatively higher than BTC any time soon but i do think, from what i am reading, that XRP could easily go to $2-$3 in the next few months.
It will certainly do that if it ends up on coinbase.

I am now that you mentioned it :). I used $400 USD of my Litecoin to get into the XRP game this morning and now I’m wondering if should have found some other way to pay. Oh well, it’s all just play money at this point.

The Litecoin founder said he was tired of being accused of insider trading and felt being as involved as he is with Litecoin and owning a lot of it was becoming a conflict of interest. When he tweets anything coin related the market reacts a lot. With the people over at Coinbase being looked at for possible insider trading with how they handled adding Bitcoin Cash (I read a lot of people involved with Coinbase bought BCH right before they added it) I’m sure that influenced his decision. Or he thinks it’s overvalued and going to crash. Or he knows it’s going to crash because of some flaw/hack and by selling opened himself up to insider trading charges.
I’m holding mine. If it’s worth $0 next week though I’m still paying all my bills and my life won’t really change other than being pissed I didn’t sell at $400.

Well, opening Coinbase this morning was depressing. By 10am I’ll probably be happy again. LOL
I feel bad for anyone putting money they can’t afford to lose into this shit, or worse, money they don’t even have because they’re buying with credit cards. Even if it works out the stress will probably kill you before you ever cash out.
