Anyone end up investing in Bitcoins?

Yup, tried doing it from my phone on a new ap like a dumb ass. Lesson learned the hard way. FML oh well.

To be clear it wasn’t a random address, it was BTC to a TRX wallet, so just happened to be the wrong currency.

added some XRP and did my first TRX buy today.

also, coinbase upped my limit but i dont want to go too heavy. going to trim some weed stock gains in the next couple weeks and add a few grand across a few coins.

It’s aiiight dawg, sucks but luckily only a few hundred bucks. Still gives me the shivers tho.

On a side note where does all that stuff really go @LZ1 ??? Just a giant bank of limbo with billions of lost crypto?

Did my first TRX buy today also. What exchange did you use? I was torn on how to buy it also. I ended up transferring ETH to buy a bunch.

I’m using binance right now.

how much of it are you guys buying? out of curiosity

5 figs here.

EDIT: Disclaimer, 30. professional, single, no kids, look like I’m 18, find me at the clubZ sippin on bitchez

I also get all my financial and life advice from Leon Black

Same.

Binance as well here.

Very low 4 figures

I should have listened to my own advice yesterday. Went from 58k trx to 66k, and then back down to 57k because I thought I was the market oracle. And I had this thought in my mind “it was a good day, lets stop”.

stop looking at it on such short term time horizons.

do you believe it will be higher 1 year from now? yes? hodl.

i plan to just keep adding to positions here and there across a few solid alt coins. maybe trade between them on news or speculation but this is money i assume is never coming back into cash.

For me that’s not the point. I have goals for the amoubts I want. 66k at .13c is a lot more than 57k . and I was there , just got greedy. Its fairly easy to add 2k of them a day. For me on my salary and with family is much easier to trade ny way to higher positions. Im not going for dollar anount but for amount of trx etc

I’m gonna throw up. I don’t know what to do between this and weed. Time machines can’t exist not because altering the past is bad, but if the public were able to get a hold of it everyone would be rich.

Personally I’d go back to 2009 to start and buy American Axle stock at .04. Like 20$ today. then ripple lol up 30000% in 2017 lmao

we may not be in the first 5% but we’re also ahead of the last 90% of people who are still not in either

^+3 for every guy out there dumping his life savings into Verge, there are 9 guys who laugh at it and say " That craps gonna crash I dont trust it" and some of these are self proclaimed tech savvy people, let alone a lot of “normal” people. Watch, once people change their mentality and accept crypto as part of the future, grandma will be putting some money into it.

Something else I was thinking tax related. Think about it…most of what you may want to buy for life can be/will be possible to buy in crypto.

Overstock with btc and lambos with btc, trx , gmit reddcoin etc for entertainment . Not even talking about goods and services that could be acquired p2p even here on NYSpeed, let alone across the whole state, nation etc.

Ok guys, lets have an ICO for CryptoBazaar, we’ll call the tokeb CBZR, just like craigslist but where you post classifieds in crypto

What im getting at is that it is very possible that 5-10 yrs from now there is hardly anything you need to send funds to the bank in usd for
@ubengineering by 5 figures you meant like 99,000TRX right? Must happy today  on the one hand I want to pull my hair out, on the other hand, it’s still good increase for me so w/e. Up to $0.14 now lol

this video is relevant even though it is Canadian. it is the CEO of Coinsquare on BNN the other day with a 10 minute interview.

I signed up with coinsquare and got verified but the feedback out there has been terrible on it so i havent been using it. It is a 100% Canadian focused exchange and at 5 minute mark he casually explains they will be adding ripple ASAP as well as others… bullish.

However, overall it speaks to more exchanges having their senior officers on legit media to legitimize their company. He also addresses a bit the service issues and how they were only built to handle 500 new accounts per day and have been getting 1500 per day… and the demographics are no longer just millennial men such as ourselves.

Irrespective of the technical side of things i believe that this is emblematic of the increasing ease of access and liquidity of all major coins. This trend will undoubtedly increase volume thereby increasing prices.

speaking of which, i just maxed out my weekly limit on coinbase, transferred to exchange and will be re-upping on XRP, TRX and a couple XRB too as soon as it settles.

Binance crashed…looks like everything is frozen.

Also, not sure how much but sometime in January, a portion of the TRX supply is slated to be burned… So that 65B supply will be reduced.

that’s cool, hope i dont lose it all

Now saying “system upgrading”. I think the trading platform itself got overwhelmed at one point there was no way you could click and buy/sell, the response was so slow. Maybe why it shot up too, if everybody just hitting buy lol went from $3.5b to almost $9b in a little over an hour I think.

I also lol’d at this
