Anyone end up investing in Bitcoins?

That was my plan I treat this shit like Vegas money aka its X amount im going to gamble with.

People keep preaching on Facebook and other places to go all in with all investments and how everyone is going to get rich :-\

In new crypto news. if anyone wants I’ll give you a discount on the domain name www.americancryptoexchange.com

I see lots of crypto sites going for 50K plus. I’d honestly be happy with 5, and I can’t believe no one took this name.

Also @LZ This cost me 8$ and has some sort of protection to keep spammers and people from seeing my info, but it did not come with an SSL certificate, i did some basic reading and it looks like theyre used for shoppers. Any need for me?? I don’t know shit about this stuff.

You definitely don’t need an SSL cert to domain squat. You’d need that if you actually wanted to put a site up on that domain and collect sensitive data you wanted to encrypt.

Do people even make money off domain squatting random shitty domains anymore?

i looked at a few of those blockchain stocks and they all seem to be pre-revenue. Are there any that are actual businesses?

@JayS Thanks! @LZ1 yes, people still do. Ethereum.com is for sale for 20 million LOL and @bing only one I know of is Hive Block Chain Technologies, but being in crypto is enough for me.

Being for sale and actually selling for a price are not the same thing.

HIVE is up again today. TD is showing me a market cap of $915M… This is pre-rev?

so yo, i DL’s the ā€˜blockchain’ app and opened a wallet but i think it only allows me to hold BTC and Ether.

what is the safest way to park a few bucks in to a bunch of different crypto currencies?

coinebase?

seems like coinbase just has BTC, Ether and litecoin.

yo, i went back through this thread. did @boxxa leave BUF on account of becoming a crypto-millionaire?

he hasnt been here in a while. I feel like he needs to be back here to sheppard us all through the crypto revolution.

^^ this appears to be a solid single point for a bunch of cryptocurrencies.

do you need different apps or tools to hold a spread of these things?

@LZ1 and @bing , Cold storage if greater than 1000$. I use the Ledger Nano - S. I Only keep a couple bucks on coinbase, but I’m a HODLer!!! HODL HODL HODL AHHHH

i was literally reading about HODL’ing in another window when you tagged me in that post…lol

Just bought 2 HODL stickers for my Focus and S10. SIQQQQQQQQQQQQ

We found a person, jcperez1673[@]yahoo[.].com , that has apparently bet the house on it.

Lol I’m having one of those ā€œstupid stupid meā€ moments. Back in 2009 I lived online and took part in the first wave of miners. Back then a nothing special Pentium 4 build could get a couple hundred btc in several days. Then got into trading them with certain people playing Everquest, Meridian 59 and FFXI for weapons and armor. It seemed neat to hoard those things. Potentially there were millions worth at todays $7k price. I am pretty sure the wallets were on the PC I took with me and sold in Belarus when I got married. Silly me!

@bing and @ubengineering and @boxxa
I downloaded coinbase, will be getting BC’s very shortly before it hits 10k…BUT i found out (im new to this) that there is a limit how much you can purchase. Then read about another app that allows you to buy more but theres a larger fee. App is called ā€œmyceliumā€. Ever hear of it?

You buying more than $5k at a time?

Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe when you first start out you are allowed a very small amount. Right?

Your allowed 5k a week on buys with Coinbase. I think there is a way to ā€œupā€ the limit. I’ll check. Iv been buying into Litecoin and a little Bit here and there.

Just looked. Verified myself and it’s 7.5k a week
