Anyone ever ride a rigid bike???

Well, ive been thinking about converting my 03 vstar classic to a rigid. I really like the look however i fear the ride quality might be too harsh. I never ride more then 30 minutes at a time but mostly local stuff. All the lowering kits ive found offer 2in tops and thats not gunna cut it. Ive been looking into air ride suspensions but in order to get the look i want its gunna be down and just like riding a hardtail. sooo, is the look worth it??? Im really not looking to drop 600+ dollars on a air ride kit.

Here is a link to the only rigid conversion i found.

its a bumpy ride. def not for long cruises and shit

To overcome some of the bumps I took a minibike tube (tire tube) put like 1 psi in it and put it under the seat…

relocate the suspension in below the swingarm… underthe bike. DO NOT GO RIGID
