Anyone fix or know who can fix a V1?

Got mine for a great price, but somone (cough cough cooley you bastage) didn’t tell me one of the arrow lights and the indicator for what kind of radar are out…i’d kind of like them fixed, but I have no clue if its something Advantage can handle or if i have to send it back to valentine or whut…lemme knooooooooooow

Send it back. Plus, if it is an older one, they can upgrade it for you to.

Advantage wont do it, and u might just need to replace and LED or 2. but id send it back.

if its from the person im thinking its from, could it possible be because a remote display was being used?

Remote display wouldn’t cause LED failure.

again, if its originally from the person im thinking of, the display did not work on the unit itself BECAUSE it went to a remote display.

i could be wrong

however, could it be just not registering that the remote display is no longer connected?

edit: therefor, not actually being an LED failure?

yea, i thought it looked like the faceplate had been removed but i wasn’t sure…that kind of pisses me off actually…

i got a PM from someone saying it only sporadically works, but ive been using it for a week and it doesnt work flat out, plus i got a phone call REAL fast

i want this fixed…im REALLY hoping that the upgrade/fix wont cost anything…warranty and such…

i really wish i had realized the faceplate had been detatched…

I had used this exact one and while Cooley and I had it, the face plate was never removed. Come on, Cooley take the time to set up a remote display, ya right:hang:

i called sean, and im gonna try n dig up that original book, i think it has warranty info, if not u can put that serial no. on the bottom in on the website, i think u can do something on the site

valentine charges a MINIMUM $45 repair fee, plus it might be extra since apparently the faceplate has been removed for a remote, and valentine says any mods previously made will result in a higher charge
