Anyone have an Escort Passport 8500 box? (red)

The V1 is detectable by Spectre radar detectors.

Beltronics STi FTW. That thing is invisibile to everything known to man right now. Doesn’t detect as far, but it still detects damn far. Do you really need 3 miles notice of a cop? (or whatever the V1 is).

Explain why that matters?

I want something that detects far. I’m not arguing with you, just trying to understand.

EDIT- I looked up that Beltronics unit, it’s $500.00 and doesn’t even tell direction. FTL

I got my blue Escort for free (thank you Nick for trading with Joe) so a V1 for $500 was not a logical option at that time.
I bought another red one to replace the blue one I stole from Joe, so that I could be a fag and have the blue match the gauges in the Jetta.
But, that red one is a piece of junk. Please have a box Nick. Trying to meet up with Joe to get his is like a God awful nightmare.

Yeah I only bought the 8500 because I didn’t think GPS in my radar detector was necessary and becuase I got a sick discount from work. And the red matches my gauges…
