HELSINKI (Reuters) - An Internet game in which players roam a school and kill kindergarten students with a shotgun has been pulled from a Finnish children’s gaming site one week after the country’s worst school shooting.
I understand out of the gamers point of view that its “just a game” but with how kids are these days do you think this game is appropriate?
If your kids that dumb to act apon a game, more then likely he has underlying problems that should be addressed. Not to mention lets throw in this factor… “Where were the Parents?”
I agree that the parents should be more active in thier childs life…but w/ all honesty…are you going to stand next to them while they are in school on the internet and watch what they do?
parents can only do so much to thier child when they are not around.
Elementary Schools/High Schools, restrict the hell out of website now a days. If parents didn’t want to have their children play these such games, they should educate themselves more on the internet. I cant even tell you how many programs you could install to block certain content from a specific account on your computer.

If someone thinks that a kid will listen to a song, watch a movie, or play a video game and then go on a killing spree because of it is a moron. If a kid goes on a killing spree, I don’t think the music he listened to or games he played would have changed the outcome. Some kids are just fucked up.
The trick is to teach right and wrong in a childs life before they are subjected to the real world.
