Anyone here have type 1 diabeties?

I yanked caffeine from my diet a couple months back. Feel WAY better. HAve some here and there, but I’m nowhere near where I used to be. No more headaches, etc.

Yea, the first 3-4 days sucked, massive headaches all day… only way to dull it was to take something as soon as I woke up and keep up on it throughout the day.

The past 2 days I have not had a single headache or a dull feeling of one comming on, its been a long ass time since i’ve had that. Usually every saturday/sunday I have a massive headache mid morning because im not in my normal routine of downing two amp energys before noon… soo nice not having that

I know no one cares but my father has to get surgery Friday to have a bone removed from the foot they cut. I wouldn’t wish sugar problems on my worst enemy.

Good luck to him man.

Having known someone who has had a whole leg amputated for this reason I can empathize greatly, and hope he makes a quick recovery and adjusts to it quickly.

It won’t be. He caught mersa in the hospital when they cut his foot off the first time. It’s amazing how fast mersa works on a body.

Mine too. Not a good time.

I hear ya there…my mom was in the hospital last two night because she couldn’t get her sugar under control and was uncontrollably throwing up. She has diabetes since she was 15. Its sad to watch family suffer, its slowly shutting down more and more of her body, she hasn’t had feeling in her feet in YEARS. And has broken her ankle/foot multiple times walking down the stairs and didn’t even know it because she couldn’t feel the pain.

Definitely a TERRIBLE disease that I don’t wish on anyone.

ah fuck.

wish him the best bro

thanks again for the help.

frank is the man

My mother has it. She woke up this morning low, at about 60. She has been on a pump and now off one and on a pen. 2 shots a day. Its hard to keep this shit in check. We as a family watch it non stop. It is a terrible disease.

My wife’s good friend just passed a few weeks ago from diabetes at 49, Terrible disease.

my mom has it and its not easy for her and has it for over 10 years now. She has type 2 diabetes and is always trying to control her blood sugar, such tough disease to deal with.

Oh wow, really am sorry to hear this frank :frowning: I wish your dad and family the best, it can be a constant nerve racking
