Anyone here work with a tablet?

I’ve been tossing around the idea of buying one for a while now, but have never used one before. I can see a lot of benefit in 3D sculpting/3D design and photoshop type brush work.

How do they work? Does it help with work flow? I don’t want to throw $$$ down the shitter either. A mouse is “ok” for most stuff, but I can see how being able to draw with a pen would net a lot more detail and accuracy.

would you recommend one? Any caveats over using a standard 3-4 button mouse?

I have heard the wacom are good, they can detect you pen hovering over the pad and such. I also am looking, let me know what you come up with.
