Attn Graphics Designers v.Tablet

Looking to get a Tablet (input device - not handheld computer) and so far looking at these two:

Wacom Intuos4:
Small - 6" x 4" - $199 ($226 after tax) - http://wacom.com/intuos/small.php
Medium - 8.8" x 5.5" - $349 ($396 after tax) - http://wacom.com/intuos/medium.php

Both of the prices are from Best Buy and most other places are ~$20+ on average.

Anyone able to get any of these at any pretty prices? :dunno:

I’m not a (freehand) artist but like to dabble with Photoshop and using the mouse is a PITA so even the small unit would suffice.

Comments on these units or alternatives?

I used it a few times, perfect condition, no scratches none of that, bought it 2 years ago

lookin for 70 bones,

Sorry papi, not looking to buy a Bamboo as it’s an entry level tablet. Plus I prefer to shell out a few extra for a brand new one.

G… you suck at art… aside from that you can get those same units at Canada Computers (there is a location by your house) for cheaper.

Holy shit it’s J out of nowhere.

Actually considering the Bamboo Fun now since it’s 6x8 for $199 and I don’t really care for all that nib sensitivity/angle stuff the Intuos4 comes with :o

Ended up picking up the Bamboo Fun (Medium) for $200CAD ($189USD) after taxes from Canada Computers. A great price considering it’s retailing online in most places for $199USD.

Nice G! Canada Computers has good pricing on shits.

Like any GuJew, I asked em:

Me: So this item is on sale till Dec. 24th.
Me: What if it goes into a bigger sale during Boxing Day?
CC: Well if it goes to like $150 or whatever, buy the new one for $150 and then return your old one. You have 7-days to return items.
Me: Sick. High five.
