anyone using ALLDATADIY?

is it the same as the normal ALLDATA site, or is it lame?

I used it before when in a bind. They have service manual info and shit. Troubleshooting guides. Specs and procedures. Its ok.

i could be wrong but ive used both and i didnt see much of a difference. its basically a factory service manual online plus tsb’s and estimated time and prices so you can price jobs.

its pretty good imo. better than a haynes or a chiltons by far.

I have used it before. It is the same as regular ALLDATA.

so its 25 beans for 1 car, and then 15 each additional?

yeppers. cheaper then buying a haynes and more info - detailed & updated.

do you need to pay that each year per car? i have like 6 cars that would need to be on my subscription.

we have too many cars, and this mustang is made of too many other mustangs. lol

From their FAQ:

So eh… I’ve always been able to get by with a Haynes or factory service manual and once you buy that you have it forever. Plus no need to go on the computer, all covered in grime, to print out some section you didn’t think you’d need in the middle of the project. With a manual you just drag it under the car with you.

the haynes and chiltons manuals kinda suck. all data goes so far as to tell you length and thread pitch of every bolt. if i could get a helms for all my cars i would, but thats not an option.
