Looking for a 2nd job so I can get some play $$ and get my poor Firebird put back together…
Was thinking either HD or Lowes; anyone either work there, know people who work there, know what they pay, etc… (was thinking there because I own a house and am always spending $$ there and a discount cant hurt)
Either that, or anyone got evening/weekend P/T work… I’ve already got a 40-50hr/wk job for days…
Apply at HD. Lowe’s sucks. But don’t apply at the cheek HD. They just got the old manager from Lockport HD and she is awful.

I found this one company that is looking for evening-overnight, and i am not contrary to that but people say that they treat their employees like shit

HGA/Quest is a vending company in Home Depot’s. They deal with hardware, electrical and paint/decor. If they are looking for evening/overnight your most likely going to be doing resets. Which isnt too bad. However most of the employess do not like the company. As well as the fact that HD is very pissed at them right now for some moves they made. The paint/decor contract is coming up soon and odds of them getting it back are slim. Either way…it’s your call. PM me if ya want any more details.
My brother works at lowes and has for the last three years while in school and likes it. Discount is decent (10% I think) and it can be used by those living under the same roof I believe (my parents use his cause he lives with them still). He worked seasonal in the lawn and garden, and just recently got moved to Install/assembly for tractors. He said the pay is decent, something like $8 for regular, and $9.50 for assembly maybe more. He also finds out about sales, mark downs and other stuff before customers, and always gives me a heads up if I am looking for something.
I’d recommend lowes just cause he’s had a good experience.
