Just some FYI.
Some people are way too smart with way too much time on their hands.
Time to back up my system. Just in case.
bah, if you think you might get it just reset the bios clock and disable windows time service lol
For me and you that’s easy. For some, kinda impossible. lol.
This is IMO the best/worst virus ever created. Either a foreign government is behind it, or the people behind it are making enough money to hire great programmers. It implemented all the latest and greatest encryption technology (MD6 hash) just two weeks after it was released to the public.
An easy way to see if you’re infected, if you suspect it, is to try and open the webpages of various antivirus companies like trend micro, sophos, symantec. One of the first thing this virus does is disable your antivirus software and break DNS so you can’t download or reinstall your AV.
And I don’t think that changing the time on your PC will help since it checks for the correct time from various sites on the internet.
changing the time will work if you disable the windows time service running in the background, …
actually the best virus in the world is windows code. lol that shit has more holes in it then the bible and jimmy hoffa put together, microsoft probly hires these assholes to code shit to infect computers who inturn sell the virus code to the anti virus software manufacturers who in turn help the end user. then microsoft releases a fucked up patch that looks like virtual swiss cheese and the process again restarts…
tell me about it… im still trying to make my mother understand that she cant rely on somone els to say the attachment is alright… and she shouldnt open anything from anyone not even my aunt because she tends to get infected all the time lol
old people… sometimes… i tell ya LOL
lol.

This article has some good links to scanners.
If you’ve kept windows updated you are fine. Windows patched it back in October.
+1 Theres an article I read (I think it was on Capital News 9) saying if you have done a windows update anytime in the month of March you have nothing to worry about.
You probably went to school with my brother Vitaliy then.
Soooo I’ll be ok since my computer was made in late October? lol
Macs susceptible to this shit, or just PCs?
just PC. :+1 for Mac
