so dropped my engine in already into my car. It use to have a ka-e in it and I’m putting a ka-de from a s14 into a s13, and i ran into a small problem with the drive shaft, it looks like it’s not long enough to reach both ends 
same diff and drive shaft as before? both manual transmission? then it should fit.

both are manual, but is the diff on the s14 different then a s13???

As long as you’re using the same s13 diff and driveshaft you were using with the old motor then it should be the same. Did you change either?
nope. I’ll take a look again l8er when i get home. I was doing it l8 last night, so today ill try to look @ it with fresh eyes.
if its same chassis and both are manual, yes, they are the same exact part number. I want to say s-14 will also fit, but dont quote me. either way, there is shimming and machining… anything will fit with the right amount of effort.
