I used to work with a girl at Lazarus downtown years ago. Her sister was beautiful, but no one would take her to prom because she was deaf. Her sister asked me If I would take her, and I did. She still talked…and she read lips well, so she understood what I was saying. We had fun. Its a shame people are so mean to people with disabilities
