I agree with lconrad, it’s not always easy to run the same time again and again. Goes with most of the ppl at the track. I went last Wednesday and saw alot of people run better times, then slower, then faster, slower and it’s just hit or miss.

heres another bit of information for you to chew on… Raceway Park/Englishtown is at SEA LEVEL where LVD is almost 1000 feet above… changes a few things. plus E-town has a better surface to run on. i know alot of people who have gone to english town from their local track and have run 2-3 tenths faster with out changing anything on their cars, same set up. but as its been said, there are countless variables that go into it. i think Arod should quit blowing smoke about his car, run it at LVD in full street trim against swifts car in street trim rather than just e-thugging eachother…
what does it matter where you live or who pays for it. im almost 24 and i live with my father, he invited me to move back up to albany from Poughkeepsie rent free, big garage, easy living to help me re establish myself. but i also was in the military for the last 5 years of my life so its tough to get started over
i do like your car, its pretty easy to drive and it would suprise alot of unsuspecting people. i dont have a problem with your car at all, its the driver.

why does it have to be your way or no way? you only run w/ slicks and c16? How about i’ll drive to Mobil, and fill up with 93… and meet you whereever you want, bring DOT street tires and we’ll go from a dig on video. I have no problem racing you, but i’m not going to take my fenders off and drive around on 24" slicks because its all or nothing. If you want to race at the track, i may or may not have slicks then. I will however have DR’s and whenever your career job allows come on up with DR’s and well do it up.

The track is key. LVD does not use VHT for the imports. That’s a major problem for many cars. For those that want to battle that statement, go ask some ET/ATCO/Island guys that they won’t be using VHT and see what they say to you. Funny that they lay that down for the domestics on Saturday.
As much as I strived to run the times that is capable of my car, it got pointless when I’d spin to the 330’ so I resorted to just rolling off the line to avoid spin/launch but as I made more power, I’d completely spin doing that too. I got lucky sometimes by riding the snot out of the clutch. I never went to another track as I barely had time to run the car as it is.
