Bodies or parts?
they keep saying fragments and the air force claims they weren’t able to match the DNA. so Im assuming body parts from soldiers who were caught in an IED.
there is no way an entire intact body would have gone to this place, if they did, that’d be pretty disturbing…maybe a body which was no longer intact, like the woman’s husband body which started the whole investigation.

the airforce and the pentagon aren’t denying it. they did confirm this policy was in place but stated that the remains will be disposed at sea.
You can’t just bury it in a military cemetary? Parts aside, this is just fucked IMO.
Did anyone even watch the video? They didn’t dispose of piles of bloody, severed arms and legs but rather the cremated remains that they couldn’t identify.
Sure, it would be upsetting to someone if their loved one’s ASHES ended up in a landfill. But we’re not talking whole body parts here.

Remember abu ghraib and people said Bush had to own it even though it about 50 levels below him? It will be interesting to see what happens now that Obama has brushed off several items lately that are much closer to him than Bush was to the low level people at the prison.
