my bro has an i30…that is sold…but the check engine light is on and the buyer wants it off
the mechanic said the codes read that it could be an o2 sensor or someother sensor that i forgot…but before we put $ into it and replace the wrong thing…is there anything thats typical to go in the fagimas/i30s?
yea 02 sensors…if the other code was a Knock Sensor it it prolly triggered by O2 sensor code PS Maxima> N/A 300zx
how much are 02 sensors for i30s? is it cheaper to buy a “maxima” part…and is there anyone on here that would slap it on for cheap 
no i think they are all tahe same price…i can slap in on…i ahve done all 3 on mine…if u want super cheap oxygensensors.com…but aitozone is only like 10 bux more they are around 90 bucks for the fronts and like 110 for the rear

NEWS:…he siad if it read o2 and knock , it would tell him which one of the 4 sensors it was…but he siad it DIDNT read o2 sensor…it only read knock…which leads him to believe it actually is knock…but theyre like 300 bucks so he didnt wanna do it and have us be mad if it ended up needing an o2 also

i have a 1996 maxima motor behind my house. But it has been outside for 2 years (though wrapped in plastic). The knock sensor is still on there.
I am buying a stand for that motor next week…if its only knock sensor than yea its knock…but if its 02 and knock do O2 1st…they tend to trigger the knock code
Just cut the wires to the sensor and put in a resistor. 
what size resistor…anyone? …anyone?
