More like a20a3.
he really wants to keep it an auto but if they are just gonna keep breaking with a car that only has minor bolt-ons then he will do a manual swap
I have many cable B series trannies, let me know if you are interested.
typo, my bad.
…what do u mean “keep breaking”? has the tranny gone bad before? Its a good idea to use honda automatic tranny fluid in them. I dont think that it should be going bad with just bolt-ons…
his current tranny is not shifting right when cold but shifts ok when warm, and is gradually gettin worse. also it seems to shift very hard. we’re not expecting it to last much longer so were trying to get another tranny lined up for when it goes completely.
a manual swap really isnt that bad.
Stock honda auto tranny’s are horrible. At least you’d be better off with a stock manual tranny that can actually handle decent power.
I have a friend that MIGHt have a auto tranny he will part with. I can ask and see if he is gonna sell it… him and his dad like to collect parts/cars and never do anything with them. The tranny came from a rolled 91 4door. He may even have 2 of these trannies if I can remember correctly.
