My version runs a script prior to first bootup that has a bunch of keys in it.

I’ll block it just in case if I see it. I read the descriptions of every update before installing looking for words like genuine advantage, activation, etc.

I plan to eventually purchase 2 cops of 64-bit Ultimate Retail for my laptop and desktop.

NO that is the loader I was talking about. Make sure you disable the update or to avoid the issue once and for all run the file I linked.
