ATTN junk yard ppl. who wants $$$

OK i know there are a good amount of people on this site that are pretty big into getting parts from the junkyard and re-selling them.

I’m looking for 2 axles out of 2 different vehicles. M & M charges around $70/axle. Im willing to pay someone $300 for the pair. Thats about $160 in profit for your services.

Im talking about complete truck axles from wheel stud to wheel stud including everything in between ( brake lines, calipers, rotors, pads, axle flanges, shafts, gears, diff covers nuts bolts EVERYTHING) so please dont say you can help me out then expect to get these with a small car and a few hand tools.

Now onto what im looking for

axle #1

Rear axle from a 1995-2001 ford exploder MUST have axle code 42. To find the axle code you open the driver door and find the build INFO sticker looks like this… http://www.fixyourford.com/explorer_label_code95.jpg
you see where it says AXLE D2 ??.. well i want one that says AXLE 42 Another way to tell is looking for a tag on the rear end diff cover and it may still have a tag on it. http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/images/AxleTag.gif in the gear ratio box im looking for 4.10

Axle #2

front axle from a 96-06 jeep wrangler with a 4 cylinder motor. From what I know all of the 4 bangers came with 4.11’s up front, but if you could find one that still has the little tag to make sure it’s 4.11’s that’d be awesome.

I know this seems like a long shot request, but I know for a fact that M &M has a good amount of both axles in their yard, but I have no time to get out there to do it myself and have no problem paying someone on here to do it for me.

If you feel like this is a task that you can accomplish sometime next week please call me and let me know so i don’t have 6 sets of axles waiting for me when i get home from vacation next Sunday.

My number is 716-946-9660

Thanks
Matt

ill take a #2 also

i dunno i was juist there today and i did not see any explorers that year or any wranglers at all

well if you happen to be back there sometime next week feel free to give me a call if you find either of the 2 im looking for. M and M always has both wranglers and exploders… i mean cmon drive down the road you’re almost guaranteed to see both of them within a 5 minute drive

I live like 30 seconds away and will be going there this weekend, will take a look for you.

i’ll take a #1 if we are lining up. i will need one soon enough

There was nothing there you needed for the rearend.

There was a 93ish wrangler wairing to be crushed but suspension was gone.

i think i got axle#2 layin around

if its from your old jeep it wont work. the YJ’s have a different style mechanism for 4wd

I could check here in Binghamton, but it looks like you won’t be around saturday when I am in Rochester, so it probably won’t work out for you getting them.

no its not from my old jeep

ill take it if you wanna pull it off for me

its already out

i ve got like three of them layin around for solid axle conversion. wht are u using these for ur jeep or somethin

yea im putting the 8.8 in the rear and its cheaper for me to just find a 4 banger front axle with 4.10’s for a few bux then it is to buy gears n have um installed.

I might have to wait till i get the 8.8 till i can get it from yo if thats cool

was at m&m today there were a few explorers there but no wranglers

^^^ do your remember any cherokees?

I saw a bunch last week- older and newer ones.

SLP. If you wanna make a few bucks get me that axle and ill pay up!

bump… anyone see any explorers!!!
