I may have my hands on a 02 s2000 with 10k on the clock. anything i should look out for as problems/issues with that particular year?
clicking from the rear from when you stop to a go
rattling - clicking from the front of the car.
transmission- make sure it shifts cleanly between gears.
any grinding or moaning from the rear of the car is signs of bad dif.
look for the typical “i had a SC or Turbo installed” evidence
have stealth drive it, he will be able to tell you if anything is wrong… ill be home and in the buffalo area on sat evening if you want me to drive it.

does it have a honda warranty still?
someone that knows how it feels will be able to tell you if something is wrong. if your really concerned honda is offering a free 40 point check up on all hondas this month. have them take it there and read the report.
its a one owner, and the guy that would be getting it for me live next to the guy. its a older guy that apparentlly has not even let the thingsee rain.

Meh, Service axle nuts, nothing to be concerned about. Personally I think the “exploding diffs” are in the same category as “S2000’s are scary at the limit and snap oversteer”. Aka, comments made by people who dont know how to drive hard, and care for their vehicle.
