very cool. plans?

drive the piss out of it?

not really, nothing planned but i’d like to get a little more power out of it

haha, good plan. after i graduate, i’m debating on getting either one of these, or an HR 350Z. really want that open top though.

nice to have no roof, every car i’ve owned has at least had a sunroof except the sti, so having it again is great

i’ve never owned a car with a sunroof. i guess the buying a ragtop will be making up for lost time.

looking forward to the sti vs s2k comparo

Super jealous. I love these things

These have really been grabbing my attention lately. Nice pickup. Now go get some good shots of her.

I know of a low mileage southern car that is supercharged and going to be sold CHEAP if one of you envious guys is interested

PM me for info.

And very nice S2000. I’d suggest a good detailing job and then attack maintenance. It is probably due for a trans fluid change (Honda MTF ONLY), diff fluid change, coolant flush, brake/clutch flush/bleed and maybe a valve adjustment. Heated seats are also a great addition and not that hard to put in.

yea it needs to be cleaned, inside isn’t bad, but dirty…outside was just done, but the drive in from PA there’s bugs everywhere lol

previous owner did all the fluid except the tranny and rear diff before the trip up so those are good for now

for the year and miles, i’m happy with it…doesn’t look like an 01 to me

What miles?

Diff and trans fluid should be on a ~20k schedule. Do you trust that the previous owner did the fluid changes and did them properly? Including a full coolant flush?

Also, you’ll probably want to grab some Honda OEM filters for it. They come highly recommended. With good oil, a 5k-8k oil change interval is totally fine. You’ll also want replacement washers for the oil drain, diff fill and drain and trans drain.

Check the springs to ensure there are no spring spacers left in it. If it is over 50k, I’d do spark plugs and a valve adjustment. Also check the air filter and cabin air filter (very common to have never been replaced).

Also keep a close CLOSE eye on the oil level.

i dont trust it but i’m sure it can last a week or two, going to change everything then

hit 56K on the way here so not too bad at all

yellow hondas

Nice…

Now come over to work and go to lunch with us today. =P

Looks great! Have fun with it.

too much to do today, but i told kurt i’d stop up as soon as i can

since when are you on here lol

Oh definitely, it will be fine for a few days or weeks. I just know a good bit about the maintenance on these so I figured I’d share my suggestions. I’ve done everything I mentioned so far except get my valves adjusted. Cheap insurance.

Sexy.
I really want this car. :tantrum:

lol
