I was in Athens during the first two days of the riots, it made the LA riots look like a tea party. It was the two most exciting days of my life!..On no sorry the two most 2 most exciting days of my life were the 2 days after I did my SR swap!
Anyway the riots were awesome, the cops got their asses handed to them, they couldn’t do shit! The whole city was rioting! It was out of control! Chaos at it’s finest.
Greece fell off the map after 2004 when they won the Euro cup and they hosted the 2004 Summer Olympics. They needed to find a way to get back on it LOL! The got back on it alright!
I wish Canadians would stand up for them selfs instead of just bitching and complaining. In Europe people stand up for what they believe in and if they don’t get their way hell breaks loose. This all started out from a Police shooting but it had a lot more to do then just the shooting, it had a lot to do with the government not giving a shit about the youth in Greece.

Can’t afford to tell the boss to go fuck himself and go out throwing rocks at pigs and setting cars on fire.” The government has us by the balls here and that’s exactly what they want. Keep us under control so this kind of shit doesn’t happen here.

4 days and nights of rioting, 100’s of banks burned, 100’s of government building burned, 100’s of police officers injured. The giant droped down to his knees. The thing a government fears most, an uprising, for the Greek government their nightmare became a reality. The political party in power (nea democratia) will be overthrown and the new party (pasok) will take over. They refused early elections because they knew they would lose and they got what was coming to them, the people couldn’t take it no longer. Greece created democracy, the freedom to vote and the rights to choose, if they don’t want to be democratinc and call an election on their own then this is what happens, they get booted out the hard way. …It’s too bad an innocent 15 year boy had his life taken by a crooked cop to start this whole thing. It’s also too bad that such a beautiful city had to suffer so much damage and now the tax payers will have to pay for it.
Don’t worry people it’s only a matter of time till it happens in Canada. Canada is a ticking time bomb that is about to explode. The only difference is Canadians have more patience and it will take more time for Canadians to do something like this, but patience can only go so far, one day their patience will run out too.
The cops (riot team) are doing their job; they’re no less human than the rioters.
It’s too bad they have to be screwed over this way because of some dirty cops or system.

i dout you can really call canadian’s pussies…were just not as united as a place like greece…were to diverse of a nation ex. if a east asian person got shot by an officer the “east asian” community would protest instead of everyone…(which is pretty stupied) that what i notice about are nation…that just my 2 cents + iuno how bad greece’s government corruption is…but i dout canada is close to it in that sence…were pretty okie (besides that whole Liberal money scandal thing).
But are government does not really do anything so retarted we need to go start breaking and burning stuff…that should be left for something that is really inhuman the government does. No point of rioting that hard for some street laws, there are other ways to beat stuff like that. But that some serious stuff, hope greece’s government got the message and stop’s jerking the people around.
