TDI FTW. 
I was watching earlier and they said in the rain the car gets incredible mileage because at half throttle it doesn’t use much fuel.
They mentioned how they could avoid pitstops because of this.
It would be funny/cool if teams switched to diesel on rainy days as part of their race strategy.:biglaugh:
