Yo dave. What about me??? 1:21.98

lol did we have more nissans than all other car’s there this time?

Boourns at delayed shipping for tires. Michelin X-Ice + Track = No bloody traction today.

"Anderson La - Toyota MR2 #20- 1:36.46 "

Boourns.

Props to Dave, Dave, and everyone who pitched in for a well run event!

Everyone got to race 'til their fingers bled, tires melted, or common sense prevailed.

A few non-official recognitions…

1 - Chris (Altima) - Most committed to not missing a gate. (Backed up to catch one on the front stretch.)
2- Alex - (RSX) - Dual award - Most tire noise and most chunks missing at the end of the day. Did you get home OK mun?
3- Colin (Altima SE-R) - Fastest family sedan. Holy smoke that SE-R is fast! Sounds vicious going by the marshals and looks good doing it!
4 - Julian (Festiva) - Most finesse and hands down winner of the horsepower wars! Proving that 69 whp is enough to beat almost everybody.
5 - Flavio & Rob (240 & 240) - Tie for most extreme ‘go fast’ attitude. And it shows! Tight rides and tighter driving!
6 - Dave (GT-R) - Late bloomer award. For trimming 3 sec off his lap times AFTER the official sessions ended. Smokin!
7- Mike (G35) - Best smoke show. :grin Nuff said!
8 - Oliver (Civic) - Most oversteer in a FWD. You should drift that thing!

Special thanks for the guest appearance and drift demo Kent!
Can’t wait to see the Caddy light up track Trent!

A good time was had by all. Thanks to everyone for being part of a great time.

:!:

Dan

Dare I say that this was a slower course this time?

Just comparing the average laptimes between the two courses… the average seems much higher for the event on May 27th.

Thanks to all the organizers and Dave&Dave for handling the timing. Also to participants and the marshalls. Great event. Can’t wait for the 3rd one.

ps. my fastest run was my very first, wth is wrong with me lol.

Come on Bora. You still can’t beat the family sedan!!
8. Bora Gokcenlik - Silvia #21 - 1:29.23
8. Scott Dans - Subaru 2.5RS #69 - 1:29.23

j/k

Thanks everyone for coming out to the event and to all the volunteers.Definately another great event. Can’t wait for the next one.

It was a great event. I can’t wait untill i get some better coilovers. Thank you to everyone who came out and participated and marshalled. The course was set up a little diferently. It was quite a bit slower (did not even get close to 100) but i bet the average speed was about the same.

I am just glad i beat the Festiva.

Sorry Rob. I have your time up there now. I was a bit tired when I posted the list.

About MyGTR’s late bloomer award… convenient that all his best times were when there were no marshalls on the track. JK!

grocery power!!

bring the z32 to the next one so we can blow it up.

haha yea got home ok… tires are like completely gone though:D

The official results are now up!

Wow you sorted through all those times quicker than I thought. :thumb :thumb for this event, for the amount of runs it was definitely worth the money.

Could someone PM me Flavio’s username? I’m a bit curious about his KA24DET build.

Sweet moses Dan… Stellar track times! Especially for a (close to) stocker.

Sorry I couldn’t make it out… I had to put it off for a trip to see some relatives. I’ll be out on the June 25th one though!

The only thing that would make those times more compreshensive is if they said which lap it was.

Ya, all I did was basically go straight down the track and yank the wheel back and forth randomly so it only LOOKED like I was doing the course.

Thanks to all the participants. It is really easy to keep the event running smoothly when everyone helps out with marshalling and following instructions. Really glad everyone had a great time. Can’t wait for next month.

p.s. not driving like an ass on the way home was really quite a challenge.
