the event was alot of fun. cant wait for next year!

Grocery Power! :E

I’m gonna have to get some R-Compounds and lose a few hundred pounds from my tank somehow to catch you guys at the top!

I had a blast at all the events, thanx guys, I’ll see you out there next year!:thumb

stupid timing gear was the only thing that sucked…and the weather in the morning. Other than that, had a lot of fun.

Great event guys has tons of fun minus rain and blowing a gasket!

yeah, great time. thanks for putting it on!
I wish I didn’t need to sell my car to go to school, I had so much room to improve!

but anyway, had a blast…most fun i’ve ever had in the Silvia!

Holy shit i now have to sell my car and buy a Taurus. That thing must through down big, beating that RX8 and all…

What a blast! Good season guys.

Thanks to Aaron, Dave, Dave, Flavio, Rob, Mike and everyone else who made these events happen. Not only is it WAY fun to get out on the track, but the people are top notch.

Predictions for next season…

Dave C will adopt a new Forum name, get the 240 back on the road and lower the average Nissan lap time.

Dave M will drive like less of a pussy next year resulting in lower lap times. :stuck_out_tongue: (His words from a couple of months ago, not mine! I’m just broadcasting them. )

Aaron will sell his car (for top dollar), go into race withdrawl, and buy a rock solid track-only car.

Flavio will fix his boost controller and consistently post times to beat.

Rob will get his d*mn car running right so I can race him. :stuck_out_tongue:

Colin will continue tweaking the SE-R and improving his lap times, embarassing those with pure sports cars who’ve been beaten by an Altima. (That LSD makes a HUGE difference Colin. Lot’s of potential there!)

Dennis will buy some sticky tires, tune his suspension and make the Cobra fly!

Joel will buy a Nissan, do a Solo1 tour of North America, and come back invincible!

Fadi will apply his boundless enthusiasm to tuning the RX7 over the winter and have even more fun next season!

Kris will build his GTR all winter, dream of driving it day and night, and still be amazed at how much fun it is when he gets on the track next spring.

Travis will fix his boost leak and have even more fun in his 180!

Cheers,
Dan

Haha awesome post Dan. I could see many of those predictions coming true.

Thanks.

I guess the main thing is having fun and helping everyone achieve their goals. That’s happening around here for sure!

Great post indeed. I too forsee some of those coming true.

Yeah, Dennis is already shopping for a set of competition tires & wheels for the Cobra, look out!

I only missed 2 track events all year. And those i still showed up.

Hmm i might be on 235 r compounds for next year. And if funds allow some more motor work. Just a hint but GT2871R.

It should be a great season next year.

You’re right Rob! But the two you missed were the ones I posted fast time for though… Without you, it just isn’t as meaningful.

I’m thinking tires too. My 225s have their work cut out for them when the GTR starts leaning on 'em.

Dan

awesome predictions. the exhaust leak will be fixed next weekend. new turbo mani, turbo elbow, 3 inch downpipe and full 3 inch exhaust are getting done! :tonqe:

hahaha nice 3rd place after 3 laps lol I think i spent more time settign u pand doing other stuff then racing but i still ahd a blast none the less

Hope everyone liked the track set up :haha

lol dan "Joel will buy a Nissan, do a Solo1 tour of North America, and come back invincible!

haha more like "joel will buy a mazda do a Solo1 tour of North America, and come back invincible!
" hahaha :cool :grin

I got a few plans for the CRX as well  have to put a fuel cell in now got a hole int he gas tank so hello more weigth reduction  ! woot woot

see every one next year :partyman:

I quite liked the track setup. I have never autocrossed before, so had nothing to compare too, but I liked the variety of corners. I realize that for the most part you have to just go back and forth like a giant S-turn. however I think the spacing of the gates, from wide to narrow, and close and far, really kept me experimenting with weight transfer and late braking. and then throwing in some wide sweepers and that “wall” on the last straight before the finish, nice touches!
BRAVO!!

I had a great time. The weather and equipment definitely did not cooperate but overall you guys did a nice job with the cards you were dealt. These events are getting better and better.

It was nice meeting some new auto enthusiasts I really admire the time and effort that some of you have spent on your rides. As a club necc truly has a large number of
‘real’ enthusiasts.

Tthanks again and see you all next year.

Thanks for setting up a great track, NECC people. I had lots of fun and will definitely be attending the NECC events next year!
