May 27 Track Day OFFICIAL results and lap times

The runs are in order of fastest to slowest, not the lap order unfortunately. I should have compiled them in order of how they were run, but I wasn’t thinking. Next time.

no worries…

the fact that you are even compiling them at all is great!

very fun event but maybe a suggestion for next time is put the stop box farther back away from the timing stuff… just a suggestion… but no matter what i’ll try and make it out to a couple more of these and try to cook off the rest of these tires

like i noticed a bunch of guys braking like at the last gate just to make the stop box

I liked the stop box myself, as it was challenging. Good practice for threshold braking. But we’re always open to changes.

And judging by the times the course was marginally slower. But it seemed to flow way better than the last course.

Thanks Corey,
New coils helped. Still room for improvement. The Festiva was faster!

I’ll have to miss the June 25th event, but hopefully will catch another in July or August.

… Hurray! NOT LAST! HAHAHA… i’ll be quiet now…

OMG! THIS WAS SOOO FUN, I can’t believe i did pretty good with my stock civic lx. this was fun u can count me in to all your other events! hmmmm. I gonna need to save up ffor some nice tires.

That was a very good day. Nice to see alot of variety in the cars that participated. Hope to see everyone out at the next event. If you guys have any suggestions about things we could improve on such as track layout or any other things please feel free to post.

If you look at Julian’s times (he’s probably the most consistent driver of the 7 who ran both days) he was 0.3 s slower on May 27th.

I’d say the track was only slightly slower for the May event. Average times bumped up more than 0.3s because we were missing drivers like Kent (Silvia), Shane (ITR), Justin (944) and the experienced Subaru guys who posted in the top bracket in April.

I had a great time, hopefully less spin out next time. I bought a digital tire pressure gauge. My front tires will not have 10 psi different next time!

thanks for letting me go for a little rip!!! to bad i was working…i will be at the next event for sure!

The hail of rubber following you around the long RH sweeper was priceless!

What are you talking about, goodyear is the shit… they use em in nascar they must be good! (cough cough kidding i hate mine… )

Holy crap…why haven’t we come up with a group buy on tires yet? hmmm…

Good idea!

I wouldn’t mind a set of Eagle F1 GS D3’s, but there are some other brands I’d look at if I could save some bucks!

Dan

Agreed. I’m in need of a new pair of 295’s thanks to those burnouts :stuck_out_tongue: The whole inside of the tire is flaked off.
