Well, funny thing, the guy who built the listening room in the barn is a friend of Tom XXXXs and I have been to the barn, which, incidentally, also has a recording studio in it. I don’t remember his name right now, but I do remember that he drove a BMW M3 (back when they were new). While he dropped a bundle on the remodel and the audio equipment he most assuredly did not waste even $1k on cables.
