OK SO ANY MORE PEOPLE ARE DOWN IT’S 40$ FOR 3 BASE RUNS ON 4WD DYNO???
I am sick and tired of calling apex and afi at this point.
Apex has a 4 day old message , shiety way to run a business IF YOU ASK ME.
And Afi has a voicebox full for over 4 days so i can’t even leave a msg there.
Campbell auto is not availbale till september.
So unless someone here is able to get a hold of the other two places by monday and work out some prices it looks like sub-racing will acomidate our needs.Unless we have objections?
Now tuning aside 3 runs is 3 runs on any Dmeter. Exact hp is never measured always estimated after correction anyhow …
For those doing additional tuning besides base runs I guess there is a few members and dyno opertor as well as your own personal knoweledge and skills.
and if its safc etc its a joke to make adjustments anyhow.
So 40$ for 1/2 hour of tuning or 3 runs at sub on 26th of August unless someone has objections by monday.
Those already listed if you changed your mind plz ask to be removed.
Now that we know $ and dyno is 4wd any 4wd guys want to come out for a few runs? or any others will be there?
We sort of self started this event here.
But it is n-e-c-c and its a group priced dynoday,so non-members please send 20$ to the right place and feel out your member form and have it returned. Or have your membership re-issued if its lapsed etc.
Again starting time let’s say about noonish on sunday the 26th??? suggestions , objections?
25th is the necc track day so no go there, unless you guys want to start day the dyno at 9-10am and after the run’s go to the track.
Or do it late late on 24th like 5.30-6 to 11pm or so if shop is willing to stay open 4us.
Generally people would like to dyno before the track so it’s up to you guys.
sub racing is crap after hearing wut happened to my friends car. they forgot to take a plate off the dyno and when lauren drove his 240 up on it, it ripped a 5 inch long hole on his down pipe. and now there acceptin no blame and say its his fault cuz his car is to low. so i ain’t goin there or afi
im sorry but i was there when louren got his 240 dynoed and the plate that was on there is NEVER takin off do to safety hazards as it covers the bearings and the main parts of the dyno… the plate itself is only 3’4 of an inch high…
i do feel back for him as it really was no ones fault… we took the plate off after to get his car onto the dyno… we didnt forget to take anything off because as i said it never comes off…
so please until you have heard both sides of the story try not to bash on the company…
well thats doesn’t make sub look too attractive afterall. But than again i used their dyno as well as few other member’s without any issues. Wrong /Right lets not turn this thread nto a war, but thanks for heads up.
And if it is subracing at the end of the day i wil take ur name off as well as any other who aren’t willing to deal with the shop.

Also so far sub is the only place that got back to me. If you guys want apexi etc go and make arrangements. i can call but if they don’t return msges …what am i supose to do here.?
The dyno ramp at sub racing is kind of steep Louren’s car is about the same height as the green 180 in RPS13_180SX sig so the frame rails are about 3-4 inches off the ground. His exhaust rubbed going onto the dyno and was really close to hitting the rollers when he was on the dyno. Louren also had his front and rear bumpers off when he went.

I will ask for opinions to get a different point of view but make my own judgement before making the change.And dyno shows you if you loosing or gaining power from the change.
And who here on the list is acctually tweeking stuff vs just runs? and what? as well with what controller?
I also see 8 votes on shops yet not that many people on the attendance list.am i missing someone? oherwise please only vote if you goiing to be using the dyno on the 24,5,6th whatever date…
Everyone is welcome to try and get a hold of apex and afi and get estimates for us, maybe i am just having bad luck.
I never hit anything at sub that i know off, I am only few " lower and 3" dp to the end as well.Also campbell auto is ramps.
But i dunno if AFi and Apex are just floor on’s? Never seen them in person anyone can clarify if there is rampsas well?
AFI is just a floor on, and they’re very hard to get ahold of. Trust me… They offered me a free summer tune, and I’ve been calling periodically and have only gotten one call back. They do know their shit but they’re swamped to hell I guess.
oK I GOT a hold of AFi. Martin is working out some prices and will see if he can fit us on 24/25/26 sometime.So which date do you guys want to go there?
Looks like there will be no go with apex considering they are going through some internal changes and short on staff members.

At the moment i assume price will be 40$ for 3 runs or per half hour.
Whos acctually going? And what dates you guys want? Also they want to know how many people are in for 3 runs and who will be tuning their stuff ?

Now anyone here has a problem with afi? since some had issues with subracing in the past and were not willing to use their facilities.
I only need to know 1nce but i need to know everything i am asking. Not that your would like too come and price pending… people at the shop need to know if its 3 hour or 7 hour booking to give me price $.
As well with some people not wanting to go to a specific shop etc i need to know if everyone is ok with AFI ? or do i need to remove them from the list…
Also which date will work for you? (keep in mind 25th is track day so some might want 26th for the dynoday instead).
And are you in for 3 runs so 30min or you going to sit on it for an hour and tune ur fuel etc?.

I will be there. 25th or 26th. Could use a tune… AFI owes me a free tune, so if we go there I don’t see why it would be an issue. I use the SAFC II, will pay for it if we go to Sub racing. If it turns into too much of a hassle though for a tune. Just the 3 pulls will be fine.
Ok… I’m sorry but I can’t go at all on any of those days. I completely forgot about some shit I have to do on that weekend and I work weekdays. I’m really sorry if this fucks anything up. But I’m just retarded like that.
look guys im not to sure what has happend to everyone in the past at sub racing but i assure you of the new people working there things have changed… i will personally be working the dyno for that day doing the pulls to ensure everything goes smooth…
