yeah… it’s a nice feature to have, especially if you loose a huge post… but otherwise, it’s been more of a PITA than it has been helpful.
example… I see something online, and decide to share it here.
I copy the link, then go to NYSpeed and create a post, but when I go to paste it… NOTHING. This problem (even over the past few months) has outnumbered loosing huge posts like 6 billion:1
I mean, considering that loosing a big post is a concern, and no other boards (that I know of anyway) even use the auto copy feature, it’s almost like a no brainer to copy the post, before hitting submit… just in case.
I dont know… but I’ve been meaning to post this for a while. Biggest PITA on here IMHO… unless I have something setup incorrectly, the feature blows :tdown: like I said… it’s kicked my ass far worse than loosing a post ever has
lol when you post something, go into wordpad and paste from the clipboard.
NYSpeed automagically copys your post… just in case you loose it with an error on the site (I believe thats why they added it).
but, at the same time… if you have something on you clipboard you want to share, when you click to create a post/thread, it automatically copies whats there into your clipboard, overwriting what you already have there.
yet, when I was posting before I made this thread, it was giving me all kinds of problems (which made me remember to post it)… possibly a software glitch?
