B20 Vtec Oil Line

Anyone suggest a company for complete oil line kit? Will be putting a b18c1 head on my B20z. Found this so far, but seems a bit cheap: http://www.brfittings.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=112

Any other suggestions?

Go with the golden eagle setup

B&R will also work fine. I have used plenty of things from them never any issues.

Probably going to use this one: http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&ved=0CDAQFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FBlackworks-Honda-B-Series-Conversion-84-00MM%2Fdp%2FB008SHQ0GK&ei=iLSeUPiiIOSa2AWhJg&usg=AFQjCNEQduRwwVzhVWGrCcp4xNqzP7T4iw&sig2=7Jz2vqlcH35jj8P2mTBfrw

If I go with the B&R one, I need a head gasket still ($56) and I have to “mod” it for the oil ports(Total $90 +$56). Not sure how involved a job that is, kinda want to just buy an all in one kit. The Golden Eagle kit is overpriced from what I can find. Blackworks one comes with an Oem modded gasket for $60 less than the GE. This is going on my daily Crv, so doesnt need to be fancy.

Bwr is a scumbag knockoff company, it’s too bad that you choose to support them. Oh well that’s the direction the Honda community has been headed for quite some time now.

Woah calm down brotato, thats the type of input I was looking for. So youre saying def drop the extra 100 and call it a day. Actually I just went and looked, others have said the Bwr one uses an Oem head gasket, does GE make theirs in house? Looks fricken beefy:

Compare to Bwr:

i have to agree with paul, go with the GE kit, you get what you pay for. Blackworks racing another crap company making junk that honda kids are putting on thier cars, one reason why the honda scene has gone down hill.

If Fly Bry says, it must be done.

GE uses a honda head gaskets, you will need a VTEC head gasket with 84mm bore and it will be machined for your relocated dowell pins

This is false that you NEED a vtec gasket. Your putting a vtec head on a non vtec block and running a external oil line to engage vtec. There for your totally bypassing the oem oil setup, not to mention plugging the oil passage in the head. So you need a non vtec head gasket.

:bowdown At least someone here gets it. It’s like Vivid Racing, bunch of blatant product copycats that sell chinese junk and put the good companies down the drain. I don’t know honda shit at all, but I know this disease has spread like a cancer amongst the community far and wide

I did buy the GE kit in the end. I still needed a 99 Si ps bracket to complete the swap. But I decided not to do it, as I have the Crv sold as is already.

No u still need a vtec headgasket

no vtec gasket. the dowel pins are different sizes too. some mill the head some buy stepper pins
