So I sold my 2008 1000RR early last season and was bike-less for the remainder of the year. I’ve had the itch for a while to get something else to bomb around town on, and I finally pulled the trigger.

So we got up early:

2012 Ducati Monster 796 ABS, 214mi.

So far I love it. V-twins are foreign to me but so far I’m a huge fan of how this bike handles.

Next step, ditching those mirrors.

Two guys, lift the front wheel up and on the tail gate, steady it and pick up the back.

We used ramps. The seller had a permanent ramp structure that we simply backed the truck up to. On the return side of things, we used folding aluminum ramps and just slowly walked it down. :tup:
