is the back up light switch on an s13 in or around the transmission?? I am trying to figure out some electrical problems…

Yes its around the middle of the transmission. Two wires hook up to it and its covered by a little rubber boot, if I remember correctly.
It should have a switch assembly containing the wires, could be a do it yourself job just be careful not to loose other connections.
