I didnt know that, I dont want to sell it because I know ill never get another backwards compatable one to play games like dirt to daytona on, but I could use the money.

I kinda got fucked over pretty good on money, so the frills go first in intrest of the drag car and bills.

I thought the last fully backwards compatible were the 60GB. After that they removed the chip and tried to do it in software…

Backwards compatible…SORT OF.
If you connect audio via HDMI you’re audio is very notably delayed. You could use analog audio I suppose, but I was disappointed that this wasn’t well documented. Luckily I think ps2 games suck now and only have ps3 with digital audio. :wink:

ive played plenty of ps2 games on this without issues. ofcourse i dont use hdmi, so i have no clue about that

I do use HDMI and surround sound and have never had a issue with delayed audio while playing ps2 games.
