backwards compatability is not needed.
When ps2 first came out i still played a few ps1 games on it.
Sense ive had ps3, I havent even wanted to touch my ps2 or any of its games.
Pretty sure my 40gb doesn’t do backwards compatible, nor do I even still own a PS2/PS1 game…
I used to think backwards compatibility was the greatest thing but I’ll never forget throwing GT2 in my PS2 after having played GT3…I don’t think I’ve even touched a PS1 game since that day. Besides, PS3 owners still have their PS2’s. I know I won’t get rid of either of mine, even if I don’t put them on different TV’s. I still have my OG PS1 that isn’t hooked up.
backwards compatible is pretty sweet still. If I had a copy of the original metal gear solid, id be playing that right now.
I didnt click that link…but is there any mention of a ps3 slim anytime soon?
