the swept wings, and the “kneel down” that they do on the catapult make is look dirty.
the other thing ive always like about the tomcat was the fact it was built for the sole purpose of carrying the AIM-54/C “Phoenix Missile” they planned to use during Vietnam(which had never been used in combat during the tomcats’ entire existence)
the whole “rules of war” thing where it states that you cannot shoot at a target that you cannot see kind of killed that idea off.
