I ran advanced timing in my G20, 19* as opposed to the stock 13/15 IDR… Ran 93… Car got better mileage with 93 with the advanced timing then it did on 87 with stock timing
Got about 26 mixed driving and around 34 highway… and thats me beating the shit out of it alot :rofl
The first 6 months I had it i rarely beat on it and got around 30mpg mixed…
This is all irrelevant as it was a SR20 … lol
i get about 14mpg from a 30gallon tank. and run 40. cetane that is…
he’s runnin advanced cuz it was dog vomit slow starting off to ~3500rpm. after that it was fine. advancing it seemed to kill that dead spot. still think it wouldnt hurt to have the stock tune tweaked a little
I have an 11 gallon tank and I fill up once a week.

Yea the timing is advanced cuz it was running like shit b4. Now i think it’s too far advanced cuz it idle surges and it didn’t b4. I think i will spend tomorrow trying to get it perfect.
Tune car to OEM specs. Enjoy running 87 octane. No such thing as a free lunch…
